Well, I guess I'd better get started then!
As my father had driven motorcycles for a while, naturally I was interested in them. Therefore on my 16th birthday I grabbed my CBT and got myself a 2 stroke Suzuki 50cc Katana R Scooter.
(Hi by the way!)
Now, as you can believe, this thing had no power. 3 HP if i remember correctly. However it was in pretty damn good condition for it's age (Even had a comment from the engineer who serviced it saying the engine was immaculate!).
The catch with driving a 50cc Scooter at 16 was that they had to be restricted to under 30mph. This one managed 45 down a hill to my surprise. I kept her for the year i was 16, using it to commute to college. Upon my 17th birthday I passed by A1 bike licence and we traded her in and bought...
My current Bike! The Yamaha YBR 125 (2013)
Now as you can expect this had more power, 10HP. 77 BHP/Tonne. Not a big increase, but having gears and proper controls allows for good use of the power!
Alas, on literally the first day of owning her, a wet, sunken, oily manhole cover caused me to lowside it. Damage. On the first day. My luck. At least nothing was substantially damaged, just minor cosmetics that were easily fixed.
Then another problem arised. Run in period done, oil change done, doing some motorway driving when literally 2 miles from my house, I lose all power and it won't start. Fast forward from the AA to the garage-allegedly a partial engine seizure due to no oil reaching the engine, despite the full oil tank. One engine rebuild later and I'm back on the road again...for another run in period.

2nd run in done, and I'm sure there's more power now, probably due to an engine rebore. Yay!
Now on to the good stuff!
Her top speed is around 75ish, though that's screaming at 10,000 RPM. Much better to cruise around 60 at 7.5k... She'll do 65 MPG and corner like no tomorrow, scraping footpegs with ease! 0-60 in around 5.6s and a load of fun to rev the hell out of her with the knowledge that you are definitely not speeding! haha.
Due to the staggered bike licencing (CBT,16) (A1,17) (A2,19) (A,21) i have to do 4 licences to keep getting more powerful bikes, so next year upon doing my A2, I will be moving on to my father's bike, a Suzuki GSX-650F (2010) (The orange one)
://
I can't wait to start riding this one. 85HP, 370 BHP/Tonne top speed 150mph, however I will have to have this restricted to 43 HP. Effectively halfing power
Another thing I love about this is the 2-tone orange sparkle-red gloss paint it has, definitely has been a headturner in the past!
And finally what I hope to own once I have an unrestricted licence.
A Yamaha YZF-R1.
Now this is where the real power stands. 160 HP, 820 BHP/Tonne. Top speed around 193mph. 0-60 2.8s. I need this.
I'm doing a car licence at the moment, so i'll expect to be driving a car once i've passed that, too. Will update once I know what's going on!
